Luke Bogdanovic, LBFishing Guide Service, Northern, WI

My name is Luke Bogdanovic.  I am a 24 year old from a small town called Phillips which is located in Price County of the great state of Wisconsin.  I have lived there all of my life and am still doing so today.  I am also a graduate from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and am currently a Forester for my day job.

For all of my life I have been quite the angler.  I fished for everything that bites and of course occasionally musky in tournaments with my dad.  I didn’t really start honing in on musky fishing until college when I pretty much only targeted them specifically.  Going to school right by the Wisconsin River really helped that a lot.  I fell in love with the chase very quickly. 

After graduating from UWSP, I got a job in my hometown as a county forester.  However, deep down I knew that wasn’t really what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.  Discovering my passion for musky fishing really made me start thinking that I need to find some way to make a living at this.  So, I started doing some research in the musky industry and came to the decision that I’d like to start guiding people for the fish of 10,000 casts.  Shortly after, LBfishing Guide Service was born as my part time side gig.  The 2023 musky season was my first year of guiding and I must say I absolutely loved it.  Being able to share my love and passion for the sport with others and witness them succeed was what I looked forward to the most during each trip.  Even if we didn’t catch a musky, I still made sure to make the most of our time on the water and send the clients home with a smile on their faces!  Putting them first over anything else during my trips is something I genuinely value!

As of right now, I am currently guiding on over a dozen lakes and five different river systems in northern WI for musky, smallmouth bass, and panfish and plan on expanding to other species in the following years.  My current river rig is a 2023 Hooligan XXL from StealthCraft which my clients and myself absolutely love!!!
